We’re looking for an Apprentice Multi-Skilled Engineer to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.
About The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Apprentice Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the Engineering team at our Ashby site. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term engineering career with KP Snacks while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You’ll support our Engineering team and Line Structure teams to keep our production equipment operating safely and efficiently. During the Apprenticeship you’ll follow a day shift pattern, before progressing to a rotational shift pattern as your capability grows. You’ll play an active role in reducing downtime, solving problems, supporting Planned Maintenance and contributing to Continuous Improvement projects.
Alongside your on-site learning, you’ll complete a fully accredited Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship and work towards an HNC, with the potential to progress to a foundation degree. We’ll give you the coaching, support and opportunities you need to grow into a confident, capable Multi‑Skilled Engineer.
This role includes practical engineering work such as reaching, lifting and crouching. Full training, equipment and safe systems of work will be provided.
