On successful completion of the Level 4 Mechanical Project Engineer apprenticeship, the apprentice is expected to progress into a Project Engineer role within Price Building Services.

With Continued Experience And Development, Progression Opportunities May Include

  • Taking on increased responsibility across project coordination and delivery
  • Progression into Senior Project Engineer roles
  • Development into Project Management or Engineering Management positions
  • Further professional training and qualifications in building services or project management
  • The apprenticeship provides a strong foundation for a long-term career within building services engineering and project delivery

  • The apprentice Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial function across multiple projects and will gradually increase responsibility as competence and confidence develop.

    Typical Duties Will Include

    • Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and financial forecasting for projects
    • Supporting the preparation of tender and procurement documentation
    • Assisting with subcontractor enquiries, comparisons and appointment processes
    • Supporting interim valuations, payment applications and cost reporting
    • Assisting with the management of variations, change control and final accounts
    • Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to monitor progress and cost performance
    • Maintaining accurate commercial records and handling commercially sensitive information professionally and confidentially
    • Training - Quantity Surveyor - Level 6
    • Delivered via day release at college
    • Ongoing on-the-job training and mentoring

    7.30am to 4.30pm 30-mins lunch, working days TBC
