Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking an Apprentice Site Engineer in our Midlands region to join our construction team and develop a long-term career within the industry.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience on live construction projects while studying towards a recognised qualification, typically a BSc/level 6 or level 4 qualification. Working alongside experienced engineers and site management teams, you will support the delivery of projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do
- Assist the Site Engineering team with setting out and surveying works on site.
- Support the monitoring of construction works to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Assist with recording site measurements and maintaining accurate records.
- Help ensure health and safety standards are maintained on site.
- Support quality inspections and documentation.
- Work closely with the site team and subcontractors to support the smooth delivery of the project.
- Strong interest in construction and engineering.
- Good numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction
