The opportunity
As an Apprentice Technician, you will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic Product Service and Installation Engineering. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will build the technical expertise and confidence required to progress into a Service Engineer position.
You will gain practical IT engineering experience across a range of sectors, supporting customers both on site and within our operations centre. Working with high-specification printers, laptops, and commercial hardware, you will learn how to install, configure, test, maintain, and repair business-critical equipment. Alongside developing strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, you will enhance your customer service capability by delivering clear communication and a professional, solutions-focused experience.

Training schedule
Every six weeks, you will attend Newark College from Monday to Thursday, with Friday allocated to remote learning. Travel and overnight accommodation will be provided during college attendance weeks.
