Asbestos Surveyor, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting commercial clients across the UK by assessing, managing, and advising on asbestos-related risks. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and delivering high‑quality consultancy work. You’ll work closely with our Commercial Operations Manager to ensure exceptional service and compliance standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos consultancy work at client sites across the UK (and occasionally abroad), including surveying, sampling, and data recording.
- Provide expert advice to clients on asbestos findings, including safe management, remediation options, and ongoing compliance.
- Follow internal procedures and SGS quality, health & safety, and environmental standards to achieve operational excellence.
- Deliver high‑quality reports and ensure samples reach the Wolverhampton laboratory within required timelines.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Operations Manager and support continuous improvement, team development, and promotion of SGS services.
