We are seeking an experienced Leverage Finance lawyer to join our client on a secondment basis to cover a maternity leave within their Corporate Banking & Structured Lending legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a major financial institution legal practice, working on the following tasks:
- providing legal support across a range of complex large cap leveraged finance transactions
- negotiating and advising on commitment documentation and grids, drafting and negotiating long form facility documentation,
- supporting the team on all aspects of leveraged finance transactions from inception to completion
- collaborating with internal stakeholders across the bank's lending businesses.

- Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent commonwealth jurisdiction), with experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house
- Proven experience in leveraged finance, with strong market knowledge of the current leveraged finance landscape
- Experience negotiating commitment letters, fee arrangements, and associated documentation
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
