At OQC, we're building the quantum computers that will power the next generation of scientific discovery and commercial innovation. Our mission is to put quantum in the hands of humanity and we're looking for exceptional engineers to help us do it.
We are seeking an Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) Engineer to join our QPU Packaging team and support the production and scaling of OQC's quantum processors. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with advanced cryogenic hardware, helping assemble, integrate and test the systems that enable our quantum processing units to operate reliably at scale. The role is open to senior technician through engineer level candidates, depending on experience.
The Assembly, Integration and Testing Engineer plays a key role in building and validating the hardware systems that house and support OQC's quantum processors. Working within the QPU packaging team, you will perform precision assembly and integration of cryogenic quantum hardware, supporting both prototype development and production activities.
You will collaborate with mechanical, RF, cryogenic and quantum engineers to ensure hardware is assembled to high standards of quality and repeatability. Through hands-on integration work and structured testing activities, you will help generate critical data that feeds directly into the development and scaling of OQC's quantum processing platforms.
We value practical engineering experience, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working on quantum computing engineering programmes.
Previous experience assembling cryogenic systems or components.
Knowledge or measurement experience relating to cryogenic material properties.
At OQC, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with world-class scientists, engineers and technologists who are redefining what's computationally possible. This is a rare opportunity to contribute directly to the development and scaling of real quantum computers, helping move quantum technology from research into practical, deployable systems.
If you're motivated by hands-on engineering challenges, collaborative problem solving and the chance to build the hardware behind the future of computing, OQC offers a place where your work will truly matter.
