We are currently working with a leading Social Housing provider in the Southwest, who are looking for an Asset Appraisals Manager on an interim basis.
This is a full-time position, with a generous work from home policy. The hourly rate for the role is circa £32.00 per hour (The client is happy to negotiate).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Asset acquisition and disposal, and an in depth understanding of cost analysis.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Analysing financial and strategic data to assess properties and recommend actions based on finding, including renovations or disposals
- Identifying why certain assets may be underperforming, ensuring data is robust
- Evaluating necessary works and associated costs to ensure stock is maintained to an acceptable standard
- Validating stock databases
- Conducting inspections on properties and presented development project proposals- Completing options appraisals and feasibility studies
- Supporting an existing disposals programme by identifying low-value assets and preparing handover packs
About you:
- Ideally hold a HNC/HND or relevant Building Surveying degree
- Demonstrable experience in analysing an organisations housing stocks to understand their benefits/drawbacks
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
