Substantial experience in signalling and telecoms engineering (preferably high-speed). Understanding of TVM430 / KVB or equivalent high‑integrity signalling systems. Experience in S&T asset management, engineering assurance or system stewardship. Knowledge of S&T safety, standards and technical rules in use on HS1. Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. Incorporated Engineer status (or equivalent professional competence). Membership of a relevant institution (e.g. IRSE, IET, IAM).
Although it isn’t essential, it would be an extra plus if you had:
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with HS1 systems and operational environment.
- Experience of working in a concession or regulated safety-critical environment.
- Understanding of high‑speed interoperability and related standards.
- Knowledge of project development, commissioning and asset integration.

Salary range: £43,588-£51,719 (dependent on skills and experience)
