About the Role
Affinity Water is seeking a Asset Scientist (Hydrogeology) to provide expert technical leadership in protecting and optimising our groundwater assets. This role will act as the primary technical point of contact for large infrastructure projects, ensuring risks to public water supply boreholes and wells are identified, monitored, and mitigated through all project phases.
You will support operational teams by leading borehole inspection and maintenance programmes, supervising inspections and rehabilitation works, and ensuring asset health, regulatory compliance, and delivery to time and budget. The role also involves close collaboration with regulators, contractors, and internal teams, undertaking fieldwork, data analysis, reporting, and providing specialist input into water resource investigations and environmental protection initiatives.
