Full Time - 12 Months
Reporting to the Digital Lead, the Assistant Digital Producer will be responsible for creating content for the Taskmaster YouTube channels, social media accounts and other digital platforms. The role will involve producing and posting of multi-platform digital assets from the show’s archives, international versions and spin-offs as well as supporting the show during TX.
This role will suit a technically skilled creative thinker with experience of producing digital content for multiple platforms and working on digital marketing campaigns.
Required experience:
- Proficient with the Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro and Photoshop with a working knowledge of After Effect desirable.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and the ability to identify trends and opportunities for the Taskmaster brand.
- Video editing skills are essential, with an eye for graphic design desirable.
- Demonstrable experience producing multi-platform social content and a knowledge of each platform’s best practices for video.
- Self-shooting skills with DSLR or cine cameras would be desirable.
- 2 years + experience working in digital marketing, content creation or similar.
- Experience of working in television is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working with talent and adapting to the fast pace of a TV production schedule.
- Working knowledge of YouTube algorithms and best practises.
Specific duties:
- Creating video content to populate the day-to-day schedule of Taskmaster’s social accounts.
- Creating digital content including clips and compilations from International English-speaking versions of Taskmaster.
- Compiling and reporting analytics.
- Assisting with the production of bespoke content for YouTube from ideation to production and delivery.
The Candidate:
We are looking for someone bursting with creative ideas and a passion for creating social content. The successful candidate will have strong creative and technical skills whilst being highly organised and a clear communicator. They would also be adaptable, willing to learn quickly, and relish the opportunity to grow their skillset on one of the most iconic comedy brands in the UK. A passion for online culture and UK comedy would be an advantage.
The Role:
This role will be based on-site at the Avalon offices in West London, with frequent filming on set and on location in and around the London area. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
