Description
The Assistant Estimator role is to assist in estimates for new tenders, working with other members of tender teams to develop customer solutions and secure sufficient work by value and type to meet the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce full take-off and produce BoQ/pricing schedules for all tenders
  • Assist in the undertaking of detailed and comprehensive estimates from first principles using Candy software
  • Assist in the production of sub-contract packages where required
  • Development of tender procurement schedule for materials and plant
  • Have full knowledge of the specific tender requirements, ensuring compliance in all respects of bid deliverables
  • Be aware of the company's best practices and innovations within bids across the business stream
  • Assist in the preparation of estimating handover packs for newly secured work
