Company Overview
You will be joining a rapidly growing and hugely successful Technology business as their Assistant Management Accountant on an initial 1 Year fixed term contract (likely to go permanent). Joining a close-knit and high-performing team of 4, this role will report directly into the Group Financial Controller. Based in their super modern City of London office 2-3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for assisting with the month-end process, assisting with the preparation of revenue, expense and cash flow forecasts, working with the Financial Controller on annual budgets, assisting with the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements, assisting with various regulatory reporting requirements, working with the wider finance team to support the completion of the annual financial Audit and maintaining the finance mailbox. You will monitor aged debtor and credit balances and perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Role Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and be confident supporting with month-end duties. You will ideally be in the early-mid stages of a further Accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or AAT) and be a willing, proactive and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will possess outstanding communication skills and a demonstrable passion for numbers. You will be an organised and self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to use initiative to solve problems independently. You will have experience using an Accounting software and be proficient in the use of Excel.
