Support leadership at the heart of the UK's nuclear regulator
How do you help senior leaders stay focused on what matters most in a fast-moving, high-profile environment?
At the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), we're looking for two Assistant Private Secretaries to provide trusted support to either our Chief Executive/Chief Nuclear Inspector (CE/CNI) or Deputy Chief Nuclear Inspector (DCNI).
This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of the organisation, supporting senior leaders whose decisions help shape nuclear safety, security and safeguards across Great Britain.

Working within ONR's Private Office, you'll provide executive-level support to the CE/CNI or DCNI, helping ensure strategic priorities, key commitments and high-profile business are managed effectively.
You'll coordinate executive activity across diaries, meetings, briefings, governance processes and correspondence, while managing the flow of business into and out of the Private Office. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you'll work closely with senior leaders, Board members, government departments and external stakeholders, to ensure issues are handled effectively and leaders are well prepared.
This is a varied role with real influence, offering exposure to ONR's key priorities, risks and decisions while supporting our most senior leaders to operate effectively.
