Assistant Project Manager - Defence & Security

Role Description

Are you looking for a new, exciting opportunity to be involved with ground-breaking building designs embracing zero carbon and climate reduction principles and be part of team that is going to be at the forefront of creating a market leading Defence Business?

Arcadis has secured a place on the MoD’s EDP Framework (Engineering Delivery Partner) for the NAD Group and the team are seeking and Assistant Project Manager with suitable experience or transferable skills to working on this programme and support with the growth of our Defence business.

Role Accountabilities

• Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets.

Support the team in growing capability and client accounts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant business experience including management of projects
• Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
• The ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and organisational understanding.
• A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Attainment of OR near attainment of relevant professional certification or chartered status
  
  

Due to the nature of the projects you'll be working on, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is required. If you do not already have BPSS level clearance, you would need to be willing to go through this process.
