We are now looking for one passionate Assistant Team Manager for the Fostering Support and Development Team who can commit to making a difference to our children in Medway.
At Medway, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to children and young people in foster care. Our fostering service is at the heart of our mission, and we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Team Managers to join our service.
Reporting to a Team Manager, as an Assistant Team Manager you will lead and manage a small team of social workers and create a supportive and collaborative team environment. Assistant Team Managers are not case holding. You will deliver high quality supervision and support social workers in the management of cases ensuring that high quality practice is delivered to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.

Our Offer
We are proud to offer a range of benefits including
- A market allowance of £3,000 per annum (payable in 12 equal instalments)
- You will hold a recognised Social Work qualification eg. Degree in Social Work, PGC in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent and be registered with Social Work England.
- You will have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
