Key Responsibilities
- To plan experiments, according to an agreed work schedule.
- To execute experiments using a broad range of techniques and equipment.
The successful candidate will have completed at least a year of undergraduate study at a high level and be eligible for a sandwich year placement, ideally with some experience of working within a laboratory environment.
You Will Be Studying Towards a BSc Or MChem Degree With An Industrial / Placement Year, In a Relevant Scientific Discipline Such As
Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, or a related life science subject.
Excellent communication is essential in this role to communicate the progress of projects effectively within the cross-functional team.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK upon being offered employment.
- Completed at least a first year of undergraduate study performing at a high level, and eligible for a sandwich placement (equivalent to a 1st or 2.1 class degree performance).
- Reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Good computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
