Location: Glasgow (primary) / Edinburgh (regular presence encouraged)

About The Role
Kennedys is seeking a motivated Solicitor (2 – 6 years' PQE) to join our Scotland Liability Team. The successful candidate will work across a broad and varied caseload, with a primary focus on complex injury claims alongside exposure to regulatory health and safety prosecutions and Fatal Accident Inquiries as well as a wide variety of non-injury damage matters. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a wide-ranging litigation skillset within a leading international law firm.

About The Role
Kennedys is seeking a motivated Solicitor (2 – 6 years' PQE) to join our Scotland Liability Team. The successful candidate will work across a broad and varied caseload, with a primary focus on complex injury claims alongside exposure to regulatory health and safety prosecutions and Fatal Accident Inquiries as well as a wide variety of non-injury damage matters. Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of matters, consisting of primarily personal injury work.
- Work closely with a Legal Director and senior lawyers on more complex, technical, and high-value cases.
- Handle a diverse range of liability matters, including regulatory and non-injury claims.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare advice reports , and provide clear and effective client communication.
- 2 – 6 years' post-qualified experience.
- Litigation experience is essential; experience in personal injury or general delict is preferred.
- Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible approach, with a willingness to work between the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices as well as working from home.
- This is an office-based role with a hybrid element.
- The expectation is 4 – 5 office days attendance initially, transitioning to a 3/2 office-home split if you wish once established.
