Construction Disputes, 2-5 PQE
As part of the continued growth of the Construction Disputes team, my client is looking to recruit a Supervising Associate to work on high-profile Construction litigation, arbitration and adjudication matters.
You will work within a collaborative and highly respected team, acting for and against construction professionals, employers and contractors across transport, engineering, energy and infrastructure projects, in the UK and internationally.
You will also work closely with the non-contentious Construction and Real Estate specialists to advise on professional risk issues, regulatory developments and emerging risks impacting the construction and insurance markets.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, commercially driven lawyer, motivated by working on complex, high-value disputes in a supportive and collegiate environment.
Technical Experience Required
2–5 years’ PQE in construction disputes
Strong working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts (essential)
Experience of TCC litigation and adjudication (essential)
Exposure to arbitration (advantageous)
Familiarity with international arbitration rules including ICC and LCIA (beneficial)
Understanding of enforcement in foreign jurisdictions (advantageous)
Experience in insurance and/or construction work at a leading law firm
Fire safety experience (desirable).
