We are looking to appoint candidates with successful experience of the following:
- Welcome late students
- Listen to voicemails from the absence mailbox and record absence on SIMs
- Answer the absence line to parents and record absence on SIMs
- Daily class check of registered children
- Issue late letters and leave of absence letters
- To support the Attendance Officer
- Experience of working with SIMs would be advantageous.
Please Note The Essential Requirements For This Post Include
- GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Primary educational setting
- A high standard of oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to relate well to children, parents and staff
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Bevois Town is committed to safeguarding the children at our school. This post is covered by the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions) order 1975 because it is a post which involves working directly with young people. If shortlisted for interview, you will be required to declare whether you have any criminal convictions (or cautions or bind overs) including those which are "spent".
The successful candidate(s) will also be required to undertake a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, before commencing employment and an overseas check if there is any period of time spent living or working outside of the UK.
