Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a broad range of sectors
- Deliver high‑quality audit services while maintaining strong client relationships
- Plan, control, and review audit work to ensure efficient and timely completion
- Lead client meetings, including pre‑audit discussions and planning sessions
- Prepare, manage, and monitor assignment budgets to ensure profitability
- Allocate work to trainees and seniors, providing meaningful development opportunities
- Conduct appraisals, sign off training records, and support team progression
- Complete post‑audit reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Identify opportunities for additional advisory and value‑added services
- Support business development through networking and client referrals
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects, compliance work, and special assignments
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with:
- ACA / ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven experience operating at Audit Manager level within UK practice
