Description We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Audit Supervisor to join our expanding team. As an Audit Supervisor, you will take a lead role in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards while building strong relationships with clients. This position demands an approachable and professional individual who understands client requirements and delivers exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections.
- Analyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively.
- Address client queries promptly and professionally, promoting loyalty and trust.
- Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits.
- Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for sign-off.
- ACA/ACCA qualification is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Previous experience in audit within a practice environment is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
- Dependable, professional, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
