🚀 Hiring: Automation Engineer – Belfast, UK - Permanent
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in Belfast, UK. If you have strong experience in Cypress automation, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CI/CD integration, this could be the perfect opportunity to work on modern web applications and advanced automation frameworks.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust Cypress automation frameworks
• Create and maintain end-to-end, API, and regression test suites
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
• Establish and promote automation best practices and standards across the organization
🔹 Required Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress automation
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience in API testing
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) design patterns
• Experience with Git version control
🔹 Technical Expertise
• Custom Cypress commands and plugins
• Network stubbing and parallel test execution
• Docker containerization
• Test reporting tools such as Mochawesome or Allure
• Cross-browser testing
• Understanding of performance testing concepts
