Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with automation experience to help build reliable and efficient automated tests for our applications. You will develop automated test scripts, support CI/CD integration, and work alongside developers and DevOps teams to improve quality and speed of delivery.
You’ll use modern test automation tools and programming languages to automate UI, API, and integration tests. If you enjoy problem‑solving, building automation that reduces manual effort, and improving the delivery pipeline, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
Experience building automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.). Experience with Agile, DevOps practices, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of test design techniques, debugging, and root cause analysis. Experience with version control tools (Git) and code review practices. Understanding of performance testing, security testing, or reliability engineering is a plus. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities. Optional for higher levels: technical leadership, coaching, QA strategy definition, stakeholder engagement.
This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
