The Role
As Automation Test Lead, you will be responsible for defining, delivering, and governing the automated testing strategy. The role ensures high-quality, secure, and compliant software delivery for API-led, data-driven, and business-event-based systems within UK Government standards.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with C# automation frameworks
- Extensive API automation using RestSharp
- BDD frameworks (SpecFlow, Gherkin)
- JWT token–based authentication and authorization
- CI/CD using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Database testing with Cosmos DB and Neo4j
- Excel-driven test data management
- Business event automation and validation
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience leading automation teams
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working in UK Government / Public Sector programs
