About the Role
We are looking for an Entry-Level AWS Support Engineer to assist in maintaining and supporting cloud-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for individuals who are starting their career in cloud computing and are eager to learn AWS services, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
You will work alongside experienced engineers to support cloud environments and ensure smooth operation of applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure
- Support deployment and configuration of cloud-based applications
- Help troubleshoot basic issues related to servers, applications, and networking
- Assist in managing cloud resources such as EC2, S3, and IAM
- Monitor system performance and report issues when identified
- Support system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM)
- Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of AWS CLI or cloud management tools
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch or similar)
- Exposure to scripting (Bash or Python)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts
Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with cloud training are encouraged to apply
