  • Defining cloud governance, security standards and compliance controls
  • Working closely with delivery teams to optimise cloud-native application design

    • Proven experience implementing AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone Accelerator
    • Expert-level Terraform experience in production environments
    • Solid Kubernetes experience, ideally with Amazon EKS
    • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, encryption and compliance
    • Experience designing large-scale, cloud-native or microservices-based systems
    • Active SC clearance

    Desirable

    • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (required for the role)
    • AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
    • CKA or CKAD
    • HashiCorp Terraform certification
    • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins or GitLab
    • Monitoring and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus or Grafana
    • Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
    • FinOps and cloud cost optimisation experience
    • GitOps approaches using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
    • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash
