About the Role
We are looking for an Entry-Level Azure Support Engineer to assist with supporting cloud-based applications and infrastructure running on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for individuals who want to start their career in cloud computing and gain hands-on experience with cloud environments, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
You will work with experienced cloud engineers to maintain cloud services and help ensure systems operate reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Help troubleshoot basic issues related to cloud applications and environments
- Support deployment and configuration of cloud resources
- Monitor system performance and report issues when identified
- Assist with system updates, patches, and maintenance activities
- Document support procedures and technical solutions
- Escalate complex issues to senior cloud engineers when required
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, virtual networks)
- Familiarity with Git or basic scripting concepts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, or Networking
- Basic understanding of PowerShell or scripting concepts
- Familiarity with monitoring tools or cloud dashboards
- Coursework, labs, or projects related to cloud computing
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent cloud certification
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with cloud training are encouraged to apply
