- To co-ordinate the activities of the Pathologists involved in the MDMs.
- To provide administrative support for all Cellular Pathology consultants and specialist registrars in
preparation for weekly MDMs. This will include but is not limited to the follow:
- Providing the Pathologists with appropriate reports and slides in a timely fashion in line
with the SOP
- Providing general administrative duties to the Pathologists regarding issues arising
from multidisciplinary team meetings, including filing, sending away slides, basic
clerical duties and distributing documents quickly and efficiently
- To ensure that records, statistics, and data are kept up to date and stored safely to ensure
compliance with good work practices required for the standards of Clinical Pathology Accreditation
(UK).
