Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team, the unit provides specialist assessment, hyperacute interventions, and focused rehabilitation to support recovery from the moment of admission.

Main duties of the job
The Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) is a 31 bedded ward with a 4 bedded hyperacute bay that take acute admissions from the Emergency Department and other hospitals. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses who have a passion for developing their knowledge and skills in Stroke nursing. You’ll work closely with a wide range of professionals including Consultants, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other specialists across the hospital.
