We are St Andrew’s — a mental health charity with a clear purpose: to inspire hope for people living with complex mental health needs. Our Birmingham site is on an ambitious improvement journey.
As we continue to evolve, we are looking for a professional, calm, and proactive Bank Driver to join our logistics team.
St Andrew’s Birmingham is a 125 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and public transport.
Your role with us
We are looking for an experienced professional, compassionate Bank Driver to support our hospital in Birmingham. This role involves transporting our patients safely and comfortably between hospital, community settings, appointments and other arrabnged transport needs.
As part of our bank team, you will have the flexibility of shifts that suit your availability while playing a vital role in patient care.
All applicants must hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence.

- Transporting patients to and from appointments and other facilities
- Ensure the safety, dignity and wellbeing of all passengers
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles where required
- Maintain accurate transport records and documentation
- Work closely with clinical staff to support patients needs
- You will be of smart appearance with a polite and courteous manner, enjoy working as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
