Endoscopy Practitioner/Nottingham/Tollerton/Bank/Ad-Hoc Shifts
Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join the bank team.

Duties And Responsibilities
To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in an endoscopy unit to facilitate effective endoscopy processes.
- Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and wellbeing.
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
- Develop own and others’ personal development.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others.
- Contribute to the implementation of services.
- Ensure own actions promote quality.
- Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
- Reprocess endoscopy equipment.
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who We're Looking For
- NMC/HCPC
- ALS
- endoscopy skills desirable, but admitting and recovery skills essential
- Mentorship
- Decontamination certificate
- Minimum experience of working as Endoscopy Nurse/ODP with Endoscopy experience for 2years
- Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
- Patient/customer facing experience
- Working as part of a team
- Previous exposure to endoscopic procedures
- Work with minimum supervision
- Awareness of infection control
- Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
- Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
- Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office
- English language to IELTS 7.0
