Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is currently looking for a Bank Imaging Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly imaging team. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern private hospital and support patients throughout their diagnostic journey.

As a Bank Imagine Assistant, you will support the radiographers, and the wider team in the delivery of high quality care before, during and after procedures, help maintain clinical areas, and ensure patients feel safe, supported and comfortable at all times.

This is a bank position, offering shifts when required for the department needs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support patients during MRI, CT and X-ray
• Assist with patient preparation, chaperoning and monitoring
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are upheld in all clinical areas
• Carry out admin tasks including patient bookings and documentation
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to provide a seamless, patient centre service
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous healthcare experience (hospital setting is preferred)
• NVQ level 2/3 in health and social care is desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, flexible and proactive approach to patient care
• Comfortable working in a busy fast paced environment
• Flexible to work at least 1-2 weekday shifts
  
  

Shift Patterns: 7.5 hours (8am - 4:30 / 9-5 or 10-6)
