Spire Regency, Macclesfield are now recruiting a Bank Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their Ophthalmic team on a bank basis

Duties And Responsibilities
- Visual fields and OCT
- Visual Acuity including distant (all types) and near vision test
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology of globe and surrounding structures
- Patient education specific to compliance issues i.e. drop / ointment instillation and pre-op preparation in specific clinics.
- Ocular swab
- Biometry
- Measurement of Intraocular pressure using iCARE
Who We Are Looking For
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in Ophthalmic is desirable
