We are looking for a skilled, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our established team of Occupational Therapists and assistant practitioners at Prince Charles Hospital.
This role involves working with patients admitted to the acute in-patient wards at Prince Charles Hospital, to complete assessment, interventions and discharge planning. Conditions we work with include but are not limited to orthopaedic and medical conditions, neurological conditions, cognitive impairments and amputees.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesnt mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isnt fluency, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Education/Qualifications / Training
Essential
- Evidence of good general education, English/Mathematics GSCE or equivalent qualification. OT OCN accredited modules or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience. Successful completion of relevant competency based training and Agored Level 3 / 4 (Able to complete once started in role).
Experience
Essential
- Experience of developing/delivering education advice to groups. Experience of team working Experience of competency based training
Desirable
- Experience of working with healthcare professionals. Previous experience within the NHS or in a rehabilitation setting.
