Job Description
Lead end‑to‑end new product development from initial concept through to market launch.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, packaging design partners, and internal technical and purchasing teams to deliver projects smoothly.
Manage packaging design for both new and existing products, ensuring brand consistency and quality standards.
Identify market insights and opportunities, generate new product ideas, and turn them into viable launches through cross‑team collaboration.
Communicate effectively with agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Handle administrative and organisational tasks such as product audits, websites, samples, and accurate filing.
Support wider marketing activities as needed to meet team and business goals.
Qualifications
Experience in brand management, project management, product management, or new product development, with food sector exposure preferred.
Confidence managing end‑to‑end projects and coordinating with external suppliers.
Strong interest in Japanese food, cooking, and product quality and authenticity.
Comfortable working within Japanese corporate culture, with a respectful, detail‑focused, and collaborative approach.
Independent, proactive, organised, and commercially aware.
Positive, flexible, and able to work across internal teams, virtual colleagues, and external partners.
Japanese language skills are a plus.
