Being a Brand & Product Designer at Privalgo

As the business continues to scale, we are hiring our first Brand & Product Designer to own and elevate our visual identity.

This is a pivotal role within Marketing, responsible for strengthening Privalgo's brand perception and delivering high quality design across every customer touch point, from campaigns and digital experiences to sales and product assets.

With a brand refresh launching in Q1 2026, you will play a critical role in bringing our new positioning to life. Working closely with our external design agency, and internal stakeholders, you will lead design execution, ensure consistency, and deliver thoughtful, user-centred solutions that raise the bar for our brand,

You will translate strategy into compelling visual work, manage multiple projects confidently, and build strong cross-functional relationships to deliver at pace and to the highest standard.

As Privalgo embarks upon its scale-up journey, you will play a key role with your passion for design excellence and user experience. Through taking the time to understand our clients, their needs, and the brand strategy, you will ensure that all design assets are delivered to the highest standard, and in a timely manner that will undoubtedly build the foundation for Privalgo's visual identity.

You will be an effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships around the business, collaborate with external agencies, and deliver high-quality design solutions. With a keen eye for detail and strong design capabilities, you will be equipped to support the delivery of Privalgo's ambitious objectives and 5-year plan.

Key Objectives:

Rebrand Activation & Implementation

• Play a leading role in the rebrand activation launching in Q1 2026, ensuring seamless implementation of the new visual identity across all customer touchpoints in partnership with our design agency
• Own the execution of website redesign, ensuring alignment with new brand positioning and user experience best practices
• Coordinate with our design agency on brand rollout including weekly coordination calls and design reviews

Design System & Brand Stewardship

• Own the design system post-rebrand, creating templates, guidelines, and assets that enable the wider team to execute consistently without compromising quality
• Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all customer touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and recognition
• Develop comprehensive brand guidelines and asset library with application examples and usage scenarios
• Create media kit and templated assets for consistent brand application
• Provide design guidance and support to other team members as needed, empowering them to use the new brand assets effectively

Sales & Marketing Asset Production

• Produce high-quality design assets promptly to support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, particularly during the critical rebrand launch period
• Create a wide range of design assets including digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, promotional visuals and event materials

Website & Digital Experience

• Manage ongoing development of product marketing and capability pages on website
• Ensure web designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines
• Support user research and evaluate existing insights from internal users and customers, working closely with product owners to inform design decisions
• Optimise digital assets for conversion and user engagement

Product Launch Support

• Create visual assets and design materials for new client portal launch
• Develop design solutions for training materials and onboarding experiences
• Design marketing communications for product launches across multiple channels
• Support product marketing with compelling visual storytelling

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Control

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to understand business objectives and translate them into visually compelling design solutions that enhance the company's brand and perception
• Work with Sales, Product, Operations, and People & Culture to ensure design consistency across all touchpoints
• Review and approve design work to maintain quality standards and brand integrity
• Attend strategic planning sessions to provide design perspective on marketing initiatives

Design Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Guide the Marketing design strategy and system, fostering a collaborative design process, and building design capabilities within the team
• Stay up to date with design trends and best practices, and continuously enhance the company's visual communication, to lead in the evolving fintech market
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and present insights effectively to inform design decisions
• Contribute to thought leadership and employer brand through high-quality visual content

You

• 2+ years of experience in product design
• Highly organised and confident in managing multiple projects. The pace at Privalgo is fast!
• Effective communication matters, we need you to be confident and articulate in order to keep moving the dial
• Passion for design with an eagerness to learn and grow
• Keen eye for detail, highly organised, and confident to challenge in pursuit of the right way forward for Privalgo
• Proven track record of designing marketing materials that drive conversions and user engagement
• Strong UX and UI design skillset
• Confident using design tools, with expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
• Experience with brand implementation and rollout, particularly working with external design agencies
• Ability to create and maintain design systems, templates, and brand guidelines
• Experience within the financial / fintech industry desirable. A good understanding of the currency markets
• Ability to balance creative excellence with speed of execution, particularly during high-intensity periods like rebrand launches

Hybrid Working
