Brand & Signage Designer - 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Your Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Brand and Signage Designer to join our team for a fixed term 12-month maternity contract. You will join a multi-disciplinary studio that includes strategists, retail designers, architects, and interior designers, who specialise in helping to tell stories and create experiences.

Please note, this role is not remote. We look forward to working with our new Brand and Signage Designer in our incredible London office.

What You Will Do

Alongside the Design Director and team, you will have a key role in supporting our diverse portfolio of EGD and signage work. You will have stellar conceptual and hands-on design experience and show a portfolio of work that is elegant, compelling, and highly creative – with the ability to communicate your concepts and ideas from concept to technical fabrication. Experience with working with fabricator and design installations is a must.

You can demonstrate completed projects and in a variety of sectors from strategy, creative and execution. You love to push new ideas, be passionate about design, get excited about being a part of extremely diverse projects and thrive off working alongside some exceptionally talented creative people.

You’ll have a key role working with various project teams and should have the ability to manage your own projects independently. The role will require occasional travel depending on client need and location, but mainly European.

Show us extremely compelling and creative examples of your work demonstrating conceptual thinking, wayfinding, signage, and environmental design that grab attention, communicate clearly, and are executed flawlessly. 

• Create powerful narratives and storytelling driven by strategic thinking
• Design branded environments including brand identity, environmental graphics, signage, and digital integration

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar
• 8+ years’ experience in wayfinding, signage and environmental graphics. Design agency experience preferred
• Demonstrate solid technical experience in the form of fabrication or installation drawings
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to internal teams and clients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well with a wide range of clients and 400+ staff
• Working knowledge of production, implementation, and vendor management
• Exceptional typography skills
• Experience in effectively self-managing time and project schedules
• Proven ability to work as a member of an integrated team and independently in an open office environment
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Candidates with experience of 3D programs like Revit or Sketch Up will be given special consideration
  • Experience using Figma and AI desired
• Up to date with popular culture and trends
