An opportunity has arisen for a Breast Receptionist and Clerical Officer in the Breast Care Department, University Hospital North Midlands NHS Trust.
To provide a comprehensive customer support to all patients who attend or contact North Midlands Breast Screening Service and the UHNM Breast Imaging departments are dealt with a professional and sensitive attitude ensuring that equality and diversity are maintained at all times.
The post-holder will work as part of the breast multi-disciplinary team to give the best quality of service. Confidentiality and working to Trust IG policies is vital. The role includes Reception and admin duties. The post-holder will be responsible for populating the day to day clinic coordination for screening and symptomatic patients, ensuring patients are booked into appointments effectively and efficiently and communicated to in an appropriate manner. The role combines clerical support to the Breast Secretaries and admin team in booking appointments in accordance to the cancer guidelines and the NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines.
