Description
Brokerage Service Manager | 10050 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £56,912 to £62,618 per annum | Grade M | Norwich/hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead our Adult Social Services Brokerage function. This is a hybrid role, with the office base at County Hall in Norwich.

We are seeking a hardworking, driven and highly organised manager with experience in brokering care provision. It is an excellent time to join the team, as we have recently completed a full review of our end‑to‑end sourcing processes. The team will begin working under the new sourcing model from 26 April, making this a key leadership role in shaping and embedding improved ways of working.

The Brokerage Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that all residential, nursing, home care, day services and transport sourcing, negotiating, placement and contracting activity is completed to price, time and quality for all groups of service users.

In this role you will set long-term strategic direction and vision for the Brokerage department and implement plans to ensure department and organisational goals are delivered. You will modernise and future-proof the Brokerage service, through periods of radical or incremental change while making optimal use of technologies and resources.

You will work with NCC, locality and NCHC Senior Management to translate strategic plans into operational plans and action items, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that activities are aligned with the overall strategy.

Before you apply, we recommend reading the full Job Description and Person Specification to help you demonstrate you meet the criteria.
