You’ll Be Entrusted To
What you’ll do as a Building Fabric Technician
- Carry out reactive repairs, fault‑finding, servicing, commissioning, and maintenance across a wide range of services, plant, and equipment, including fire doors, fire stopping, and floor repairs in all hospital areas.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or structured training programme.
- A relevant technical qualification such as Level 3 NVQ, HNC, or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a similar environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Building Fabric systems, ideally within healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
Vetting And Checks
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
