An opportunity has arisen to join our Property Services Team as a Building Services and Compliance Officer. You will work alongside another Building Services and Compliance Officer to assist with the day to day running of the Council’s operational assets, this includes offices, depots, community centres, sports pavilions and public conveniences.
The role is varied and ideally you will be expected to have experience of working within a facilities environment with some knowledge of building construction and technology. Experience of managing a team is also desirable as the role will involve managing some of the Council’s cleaning and caretaking team.
The role may involve entering Police offices within the Civic Centre, and the successful candidate will be required to pass NPPV Level 2 (Non-Police Personnel Vetting) checks before appointment to the post.
