Sparta Global are hiring a Business Analyst to support an operating model transformation within a wider large-scale digital transformation programme.
This role will require candidates to be on-site in Central London 2-3 Days per week, and will be set up as initial 12-Month fixed-term-contract (with a strong possibility of converting to perm at the end of the 12 month period).
This role requires candidates to not just document requirements, but help the business understand the problem, explore solutions and move towards an operating model that is clear, workable and aligned to transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse current operating model challenges within a large-scale digital transformation environment, identifying key issues, dependencies and areas for improvement.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to draw out requirements, pain points and operational insight in a sensitive, structured and efficient way.
- Translate complex operating model requirements into simple, compelling PowerPoint visuals suitable for senior, non-technical audiences.
- Rapidly assess business problems and summarise their key features to support prioritised and structured solution development.
- Support the design of future-state operating model solutions, ensuring they are practical, user-focused and aligned to the wider transformation objectives.
- Use prototyping and co-design techniques to develop foundational solutions quickly, gather feedback and iterate until requirements are met.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and collaborative sessions with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
- Maintain a clear focus on the business problem being solved, avoiding unnecessary complexity, over-engineering or methodology-led delivery.
- Work closely with delivery teams, change teams and senior stakeholders to ensure analysis outputs support decision-making and implementation.
About You
- Strong experience working on operating model design, assessment or improvement.
- Able to simplify complex operational requirements into clear, engaging visual outputs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and draw out information from different stakeholder groups.
- Experience using prototyping, co-design or iterative solution development approaches.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where requirements may be unclear or evolving.
- Pragmatic and business-focused, with the ability to stay focused on outcomes rather than becoming distracted by methodology or technical detail.
