We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support delivery across multiple mortgage-related propositions, including Product Transfers, Seasonal Holiday Lets, Mixed Use Properties, and Semi‑Commercial initiatives. The role will work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define scope, design future-state processes, and support smooth implementation of change.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project-level business analysis and produce documentation such as BRDs, scope matrices, use cases, sequence diagrams, future‑state models, and UAT plans.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business strategy, processes, services, and operational context.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and working sessions with key stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams.
- Design and secure agreement on new business operating models and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency across processes and structure.
- Create detailed process flows, acceptance criteria, and data specifications to support user stories.
- Experience working in mortgage industry.
- Review and validate requirements with product owners, SMEs, and delivery partners.
- Prepare documentation for sign‑off and host design reviews with various stakeholder groups.
- Support implementation by resolving design-related queries throughout the build phase.
- Develop training materials and assist internal teams with the adoption of new processes or system features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand‑ups to ensure alignment with delivery teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects within financial services.
- Industry-related qualification or certification (desirable).
- Proven track record in financial services business analysis and requirements gathering.
