Description
An exciting opportunity is available to join the R&D team based at Cardiff Joint Research Office. You will work collaboratively with researchers and external pharmaceutical commercial to identify opportunities to expand our commercial trial portfolio. The opportunity offers a huge benefit to the Cardiff and Vale UHB research community and our patients. This is a 2 year fixed term/secondment opportunity.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 2 years to meet the needs of the service.

If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

The post holder will be responsible for working with commercial partners and HCRW to identify a pipeline of commercial work across a number of different portfolios including primary care.

The business manager will work closely with senior management to understand the strategic direction of research activity within the UHB

Flexibility and good communication are needed to ensure the needs of the research community are met and the benefits of the system are effectively understood.

The confidence to challenge existing ways of working is key to bringing about service improvement and improving systems and services.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
