We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow Indras presence across our Direct Channels in the UK, with a strong focus on trade wholesalers, EV installers and contractors, and home builders.
This is a field-based sales role requiring a proactive, commercially minded professional with proven experience selling EVSE or similar technical solutions into trade and channel markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships, driving sales volume, and expanding Indras market share within key regional and national accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute the commercial sales strategy for this channel to drive growth within trade wholesale, electrical contractor, installer, and housebuilder channels.
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing accounts across the UK.
- Promote Indras full suite of EV charging products and services, positioning the company as the partner of choice for quality and innovation.
- Work closely with the internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment and exceptional customer experience.
- Provide product training, demonstrations, and technical support to channel partners where required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the EV and electrical sectors.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
- Attend trade events, exhibitions, and industry forums to represent Indra and generate new business leads.
- Proven track record in business development or field sales within EVSE, electrical wholesale, energy solutions, or a similar technical industry.
- Experience selling into trade distribution, electrical installers, and contractors is essential.
- Knowledge of EV charging systems, smart energy solutions, or low-carbon technologies.
- Existing relationships within trade wholesaler networks or electrical installation firms.
- Understanding of OZEV grants, compliance standards, and installation processes.
