WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Truro, Cornwall. In this role, you will support the growth of our Mineral Processing services across the UK and international markets. You will focus on identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
This is a field-based opportunity designed for a proactive professional who thrives on building face-to-face relationships. While you will be home-based to facilitate regular client visits, attendance at industry events, and occasional international travel, staying connected to our core operations is vital. As such, the role requires an on-site presence at our Truro office for approximately 2 to 3 days per month, ensuring close collaboration with our technical teams and a deep alignment with the local expertise that drives our division.
By developing a strong understanding of company capabilities, you will effectively position our services in the market and promote our full range of offerings, with a focus on cross-selling and linking opportunities across the wider group. You will represent the business at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to build brand presence and generate leads, while monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the sector. Additionally, you will work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and service delivery, while supporting strategic planning and contributing to business growth initiatives.
