Role Overview:


UST is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support strategic growth across the UK and European markets. This role focuses on driving revenue through the sale of digital engineering and advanced technology services, leveraging nearshore delivery capabilities across Eastern Europe, with a strong emphasis on Ukraine as a key delivery location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow new and existing accounts in the UK and EU markets
  • Identify and qualify opportunities across digital engineering, product engineering, cloud, data, and AI services
  • Position Eastern Europe, particularly Ukraine, as a strategic nearshore delivery location offering high quality, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, solution definition, proposal development, and contract closure
  • Partner with delivery and engineering leaders to design fit‑for‑purpose solutions aligned with client business objectives
  • Manage RFP and bid processes, including commercial structuring and pricing alignment
  • Build and maintain strong executive‑level client relationships to drive long‑term partnerships
  • Support account expansion initiatives through structured account planning and cross‑sell / up‑sell strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial governance

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or solution consulting
    • Proven experience selling nearshore delivery models from Eastern Europe, with direct exposure to Ukraine‑based delivery teams or programmes
    • Strong understanding of distributed delivery, agile programme execution, and scalable team models
    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex pursuits and enterprise‑level negotiations
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate technical solutions in business‑focused language
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
