A well-established FMCG food business is seeking a commercially curious and detail-oriented Business Insights Analyst to join its Head Office team in West London. This is a fully office-based role (5 days per week), offering free on-site parking and excellent exposure to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The Opportunity
Working within the Business Insights function, you will support the end-to-end customer journey by transforming data into clear, actionable commercial insight. Partnering closely with Sales and Finance, you will play a key role in driving customer performance, improving reporting standards, and enhancing data quality across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce internal and external reporting, delivering meaningful commercial insight
- Analyse customer purchasing behaviour, trading patterns and performance trends
- Translate core reports into clear recommendations with defined next steps
- Develop new value-adding reports and deliver ad-hoc analysis to support real-time decision making
About You
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills (Power BI desirable)
- Ideally you will have some work experience to demonstrate you are keen to work hard to achieve you goals.
- High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in FMCG
- Confident communicating insights to stakeholders at varying levels
- Motivated to build a career within commercial finance or business partnering
