The role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Manager to support the Medical Directors Office at The London Clinic, one of the UK's leading private hospitals. This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE, 22.5 hours per week) offering a unique opportunity to work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Responsible Officer (RO)and senior leadership team, helping to shape the effective delivery of medical leadership across the organisation.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning and management of the day-to-day work assigned to the MD, and RO, acting as a key point of coordination across a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organisation. You will represent the CMO in a variety of settings, ensure robust systems and processes support senior leadership responsibilities, and coordinate leadership meetings while tracking and progressing key actions.
The role will also involve commissioning and quality-assuring briefing materials, ensuring that matters under the CMO's remit are clearly documented, allocated and followed through to delivery. A central aspect of the position is managing the CMO's time and priorities (but not diary management) to maximise visibility across the organisation and support the wider engagement agenda.
The role requires the production of letters, outline papers and minutes related to monthly Divisional Clinical Directors Meetings and Professional Practice Advisory Group.
You will initiate communications with various internal and external stakeholders.
This position is ideally worked Tuesday and Wednesday on site, with one additional flexible day that can be worked from home
